Based in Sheffield, I take pride in both the quality of my furniture and the attention to detail in every piece I create.

I can work with you on a brand new commission to fit your space and needs or you can view one of my standard pieces that can be customised to your personal tastes.

To commission furniture allows me to tailor a piece perfectly to your requirements.  In this process you can give precise details on design and finish or simply give me a design framework within which to work. It may be that you have a particular space that dictates size or style, ideas on design and construction that you would like incorporated. Even particular requirements on how one interacts with and uses the piece, be it a chair, desk or cabinet will be considered.  I will advise throughout this process, so do not be afraid to ask.

Following the initial discussions, I will provide draft drawings and specifications for your approval.  Once a brief, delivery schedule and price is agreed upon, a small deposit is required upon which the order is made live and further detail revisions may be made. Then it’s into the workshop where the wood and materials are selected and the making can begin.

From the initial meeting to the final delivery, I take great care to keep the customer informed and educated on each step in the process. I happy to work with you to meet your needs and would love to sit down over a cup of tea and chat about how we can make your piece of furniture. Continue reading “commissions”

standard pieces

This is where my standard pieces come into play.  I call them standard as every house has them, however, you can alter almost any aspect to your taste.  I would be delighted to chat with you and make them to fit your criteria and specification.

Any questions, just get in touch.
